The lady wakes . . .
Ticklish fancy
I woke this morning and with a leisurely stretch came the thought,
What shall we do today?
As if I were a lady of leisure.
Perhaps a nap, a long bath, a cup of tea.
The lady indulged a moment
In ticklishly fanciful thoughts
Of a day like that.
Then the plebeian thought rudely intruded,
“Oh, yeah. That.”
Garage cleaning day.
Floor mopping day.
Laundry day.
The lady sighed, wishing for a servant.
Oh wait. She has one.
C’est moi.
May you have a ticklishly fanciful moment today. Thanks for stopping by. I appreciate you, and should you wish to comment or share, the lady will be most grateful!
BOOK NEWS: Doggedly slogging through revisions of Mack #6, MY COUSIN KRISSY. Because that’s what this is, a dogged slog to the finish line. Whew! I remind myself, “You’ve done it before. You’ll do it again.” Wish me luck!
Also available at: Barnes&Noble.com, Books-A-Million, IndieBound and
THE LOCAL STORE in Eau Claire as well. (Ooh, bricks and mortar?! How quaint, thinks the lady.)
P.S. If you like a book, please consider posting a positive review on Amazon. This makes a BIG difference for all of us indie authors! Thanks.

So hard to have one of those fanciful days or even bits of one! Always some task or another that stares me in the face until I get up to complete it. I need special glasses that blind me to those nasty tasks!
Oh, yeah. I have days like that!
