Why I can't write
Any excuse will do
I need more coffee.
I’m fasting and my brain doesn’t work without glucose.
I’m fasting and the ketones give me so much energy I can’t sit still.
I had some ideas but then I saw what you wrote on Substack. (So good!)
I got so discouraged I scrapped all my ideas.
I should clean the bathroom.
It’s too early.
It’s too late.
I have to put the Christmas decorations away.
The house is too quiet.
The house is too noisy.
It’s been ages since I checked Facebook. Sure to be something there
That needs a thumbs-up from me.
My desk is too messy.
My desk is too clean.
It’s hot in here.
It’s cold in here.
I need to go to the store and buy coffee.
Oops. I accidentally wrote. But does it count?😊

Wishing you all a wonderful day. Thanks for stopping by. I appreciate you.❤️
I have—somehow—managed to write four books in this series:

Somehow, I lost my comment. Here's a new one: I am lucky. I found another post by an old woman. I am very old myself, but you are a successful writer, and I am a late beginner. It's perfectly OK. I loved your small poem. And you are so right; we waste our lives on small, unnecessary things. I wish you a healthy, productive New Year!
This was so fun to read - and so very true!!
